Friday, April 13

Krannert Art Museum Exhibits (All Day)

•  Jerusalem Saved! Inness and the Spiritual Landscape
•  After Abstract Expressionism
•  Fifty Years: Contemporary American Glass from Illinois Collections

8:00AM: Museum at the Crossroads Passport Program

1. Pick up your passport at the Champaign County Welcome Center or at participating museums 2. Make you sure you stop at as many of the museums and get your stamps! (you have until August 17) 3. If you've visited 6+ participating museums you can enter into a drawing and winners will be chosen at the Sweetcorn Festival on August 25!  A great way to make learning fun that can last all summer! Events with count!

NOON: Yoga @ Krannert Art Museum
NOON: Friday Forum Debts and Deficits: Combating Recession in the U.S., Latin America, and Eurozone @ University YMCA
4:00PM: Women’s Tennis vs. Ohio State @ Atkins
5:00PM: Earth Week Speaker – Andrew Ross “Climate Justice” @ Levis Center (in Illini Union)
5:00PM: Traffic Jam: Ryan Ideus and the Feudin Hillbilly’s @ Krannert Center for the Performing Arts
6:00PM: Dinner and Magic with Andy Dallas at Busboom Castle near Mohamet, IL tickets $50 – available at dallas & co.)
6:30PM: Authors Fair @ Rantoul Public Library, readings start at 7

Authors will include Jerry Barret (children’s books), Betty C Kay, Robert Hays, Doug Peterson, David J. Kirk will share from their works and signing books!

6:30PM: 2012 Learn to skate showcase, Skating in Technicolor! @ U of I Ice Arena

$5 GA, $7 reserved seating – showcasing how much effort and dedication it takes skaters to develop their skills!

7:00PM: Centennial High School present Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat
7:00PM: Spring Prairie Skies @ Staerkel Planetarium
7:00PM: CARNIVAL! Exhibit Opening @ Spurlock Museum
7:00PM: Our Town @ Krannert Center for the Performing Arts

Saturday, April 14

All Day: University of IL Spring Festival Volleyball Tournament @ Actvities and Recreation Center (ARC)

8:00AM: 2012 Walk, Run or Roll to benefit the Greater Community AIDS Project @ Burwash Park in Savoy, IL
8:00AM: Illinois Science Olympiad State Tournament @ University of Illinois
9:00AM: Boneyard Creek Community Day @ Scott Park
10:00AM: Swing into Spring craft and vendor fair hosted by Family Service Resource Center @ Hawthorne Suites
10:00AM: Author's Fair @ Rantoul Public Library

Authors will be speaking through out the day on various topics:

4:00 & 6:00PM: Fighting Illini Softball vs. Wisconsin @ Eichelberger Field

It's Softball Bingo Night and Youth Softball weekend! Teams that pre-register with Brooke at bbuzard2@illinois.edu get a tour of the clubhouse including recruiting lounge, training room, trophy room, and locker room facilities! Free Admission!

6:00PM: An Intimate Evening of Dinner and Magic with ANDY DALLAS @ Busboom Castle (Mohamet)
6:30PM: Dessert and Conversation: Our Town @ Krannert Center for the Performing Arts

All Day: University of IL Spring Festival Volleyball Tournament @ Actvities and Recreation Center (ARC)

10:00AM: Women’s Tennis vs. Penn State @ Atkins
11:30AM: The 4th annual C-U Autism Network Autism Walk, Safety, Resource & Fun Fair at Hessel Park on Sunday, April 15th! Registration begins at 11:30AM, Walk starts at 2:30PM
12:00PM: Women’s Soccer vs. Wisc @ Illinois Field

1:00PM: Fighting Illini Softball vs. Wisconsin @ Eichelberger Field

Football Coach Tim Beckman will throw out the ceremonial first pitch!  Kids run the bases after the game and it's Youth Softball weekend!
