There’s no better way to enjoy fall than finding your way through the corn maze at Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch. This 10-acre maze will be a huge challenge. Break off in pairs and see who can get the most checkpoints and find their way out. To make it a little more fun, go for the moonlight maze after dark. You can complete the night with a weiner roast right on site.
For some action, head to an Illini Volleyball game this fall. These are action packed, loud, and generally one of the most entertaining sporting events to attend. Be sure to wear your orange and be ready to yell. Following the game, head down to Green St. and relive some of your college years by stopping in a campus bar. Check out Legend’s, Murphy’s or Brother’s and see if you can keep up.
Take part in some Foot Golf at Lake of the Woods Golf Course. This is a fantastic activity with a foursome of friends looking to enjoy some time out in a beautiful setting while staying active. Like golf, your goal is to get the lowest score possible as you kick a soccer ball on the course instead of hitting the ball with your clubs. It can be really entertaining especially if you haven’t kicked a soccer ball in awhile! Once the round is done, head to JT Walker’s Brewery in Downtown Mahomet and sample their local craft beer and try the delicious food from the restaurant across the street.
Did you know that the Public Art League has installed 37 sculptures in Champaign-Urbana, with 27 of them centered around Downtown Champaign? Download their printable map from their website and head out for a public art walk. Find your favorite one and take a selfie and share it with us on Instagram. End your evening in downtown and enjoy over 40 different bars and restaurants, all locally-owned.
