Everyone's familiar with E.T.A. Hoffman's story about the Nutcracker. Do you also know that he's the author of Coppelia? Come watch the Champaign Urbana Ballet (CU Ballet) perform this charming story of young lovers befuddled by a lifelike doll and its inventor, Dr. Coppelius.
Bright costumes, picturesque scenery and classical choreography are set to the memorable melodies of Delibes by artistic director Deanna Doty.
