Historic Farm Days | July 9-12, 2015
The annual Historic Farm Days, held in Penfield, returns to take a look back at our history with special displays every year, this year featuring John Deere and Chevrolet. With tractor pulls, square dancing, parades, fireworks, a blacksmith shop and live music, the whole family will enjoy learning a little more about the history of agriculture.
The 2015 Champaign Music Festival will feature nationally-recognized musicians playing amazing music in the heart of Downtown Champaign. Join in for an exciting evening of live music by Smash Mouth & Toad the Wet Sprocket and enjoy food and beverages from local restaurants. Come ready to rock at this outstanding and FREE summer event!
Now in it's 66th year, the Champaign County Freedom Celebration offers fun throughout the day to celebrate the 4th of July. Start off with a 5K Race & Walk through the Univeristy of Illinois campus followed by a parade at 11:00 a.m. Music and childrens activities start at 7:00 p.m. with fireworks starting around 9:15 p.m.
