Parkland College

Occupying 233 acres, Parkland College is a fully-accredited, two-year public college with an enrollment of over 11,000 credit and noncredit students each semester.  Since 1967, Parkland has helped people of all ages earn career degrees, transfer successfully to four-year colleges and universities, and enrich their lives through workshops, adult education, and business development offerings.  In addition to Parkland's excellent academic programs, the college also contribtes to the cultural life of Champaign County with an art gallery, first-rate theatre productions, the William M. Staerkel Planetarium, Tony Noel Ag Technology Applications Center, and instrumental and choral performing groups.  Parkland College also produces its own 24-hour educational and community interest television program, PCTV, as well as WPCD-Radio, a station dedicated to Parkland announcements and music.
