NXTsports, the country’s leader in lacrosse events, is bringing the Midwest’s first MVP Lacrosse recruiting event to the University of Illinois’ top-of-the-line facilities this Friday-Sunday June 12-14.
MVP events have long been synonymous with excellence and have
been among the country’s top events for the better part of 25 years. MVP’s
commitment to exclusively using Division I facilities ensures that players have
the chance to play at the country’s finest facilities.
"We couldn’t be more excited to see lacrosse grow in the
Midwest and we’re thrilled to bring the nationally-recognized MVP brand to
Champaign and the University of Illinois’ immaculate facilities,” said John
Cavalier, Director of MVP Events. “We expect to see the Midwest’s top teams and
players as we look to make this a tradition in the Midwest.”
Visit Champaign County aided organizers in bring the event to the area and will
provide support in helping coordinate media and providing community resources
to the hundreds of players and their families attending the tournament.

showcase Champaign County as a destination for sports,” said Jayne DeLuce,

the growing sport of lacrosse to the sports fans in Champaign County and the

Teams from Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Kentucky and
