Make use of summer's abundance and learn some medicine-making basics! Join clinical herbalist Liz Faermark to learn how a few common garden herbs can be used to make simple and effective first aid preparations! Class participants will explore three key first aid herbs on the land at Delight Flower Farm. Then, we’ll use each of these plants to make soothing salves, pain-relieving antimicrobial sprays, and itch-relieving poultices! Students will take home a salve & spray, and will receive a booklet summarizing each of the herbs and recipes.
