This year’s Pride Fest will be designed to bring our diverse LGBTQ+ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration of our past, present and future, while raising funds for the Uniting Pride programs and educating the public about the existence and continuing civil rights battle facing our community. C-U Pridefest will be held the weekend of September 24 through 26, 2021.
COVID POLICY:
With our theme around health this year, we’re committed to following all recommended safety protocols. As the health crisis changes, our policies may change. Currently our policy is that all indoor events are mask-mandated and vaccine-only and everyone must show proof of full vaccination, meaning you have received both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 14 days prior to an event. All outdoor events are mask-mandated unless seated socially distanced from others. Acceptable forms of vaccine proof are: physical presentation of your vaccine card, a clear photo of your vaccine card, the University of Illinois SHIELD app, or the IDPH Vaccine Portal, along with photo ID to confirm matching name on vaccine proof. Note we are not accepting a current negative test in lieu of vaccination.
