A perennial favorite, the comedy "Blithe Spirit" features the frustrated novelist Charles Condomine and his wife Ruth, who host a seance in their home in hopes of conjuring up some inspiration for Charles' new book. Instead, they accidentally conjure the ghost of Elvira Condomine—Charles' first wife—who is not particularly pleased that she must compete for his attention.
