Chapter 29 is hosting EAA's World War II B-25 bomber, named "Berlin Express." The B-25 was a light, twin-engine bomber that served in Europe and the Pacific. It was famously used in a dangerous mission to launch from an aircraft carrier and bomb Tokyo in retaliation for the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor the in the famous Doolittle Raid.
Tickets for rides can be purchased through EAA and on-site. We recommend purchasing tickets early because seats will fill fast, especially since it will be Father's Day weekend.
The airplane will be available for ground tours from 2pm to 5pm each day. Souvenirs will also be for sale on site. Ground tour tickets cost $10 for an individual, $20 for a family, and $1/person for large groups. Children under 8 with a paying adult as well as active military and veterans are free.
