The Wind Symphony presents a program reflecting on the human experience of loss, comfort, and acceptance. Acclaimed UIUC professor of flute Jonathan Keeble is featured as soloist for Joel Puckett’s moving concerto, The Shadow of Sirius, and the program concludes with Stephenson’s personal expression of grief and endurance in his Symphony no. 2, “Voices.”
