Join Allerton Natural Areas Staff on a full moon hike through the west side of Allerton Park. As the sun sets, we will listen for Wood Thrush and Eastern Pewee singing the forest to sleep and then we will hike to the moonlit Sangamon River and listen for calling owls and howling coyotes.
Hikes are open to anyone, but registration is required. We will meet at the Centaur Parking Lot at 6 p.m.
Cost is $10/person, $20/person includes two beers.
