By highlighting KAM's strong holdings of work from artists practicing in Chicago during the 1930s through the 1980s, this exhibition will ask what is a Chicago artistâ and what constitutes the Chicago School ”ultimately exploring how styles and categories are fashioned and perpetuated, and how they may ultimately fall out of favor. All exhibitions are free (donations accepted) and open to the public. Please visit http://kam.illinois.edu for more information. Museum hours are 9am until 5pm Monday through Saturday, and until 9pm Thursday.
