On December 7th in downtown Urbana, there will be a fashion show.  Fashion shows are not that common in CU, and this one is particularly unusual, because its sole designer is 16 years old.

For around a year, Joseph Khan has been getting deeper and deeper into fashion - first designing screen prints for t shirts and hoodies, then moving on to modifying existing garments and selling them, and then learning how to make clothing from scratch.  His brand is INTENTION, and the current collection is компромат.

Joseph is inspired by runway shows from Raf Simons, Hedi Slimane, Rei Kawakubo, and others.  His clothing is raw and strong.

In the recent Kickstarter campaign for the show, which reached its target in just four weeks, Joseph said “through my clothing and specifically this runway show, I hope to express the best of my creativity, provide an event where multiple young creatives can be involved and, above all, show young adults, adults and anyone else that they can exercise their individuality in any way they want.”
