Some of the best food in Japan can be found at festivals. If you can't make it there this summer, you can come to Japan House for Japanese Street Food & Sake! Put on your yukata or favorite summer outfit and join us at our last event of the school year before we close for Summer Break (July and August).

Guests will be greeted with a refreshing sake cocktail and a passport that will guide you through four food stations provided by Michael's Catering and Japan House Staff.

Featuring street food favorites like Yakitori (Grilled Chicken Skewer), Takoyaki (Octopus Beignet with Sweet Teriyaki), and Hashimaki (Okonomiyaki on a stick), as well as an Omusubi station (Rice Triangles) with a variety of toppings, paired with unique sake at each station.

Once your passport is stamped at all of the stations, you will receive a wagashi to-go (Japanese Sweet) and special coupon for this year's Matsuri Festival held on Sunday September 8th.

Japan might be over 6,000 miles away, but Japan House is right around the corner! Make sure to get your ticket now because space is limited and this event will sell out fast!

Must be 21yrs of age to attend. ID's will be checked at the door.
