For Kids

Noon Day Drop at the Orpheum!

10:30am-1:00pm

Noon Day Drop includes many family-friendly activities, music and entertainment from Crash Events, crazy hats, noisemakers, a countdown to the big moment, and a drop of more than 4000 balloons at the strike of noon.

Party Like It’s 1900 at Museum of the Grand Prairie!

10:30am-12:30pm

Have you ever wondered why we celebrate the New Year on January 1st? This and other questions will be answered as we make snacks and design crafts to celebrate the New Year, all while learning about the history of this holiday.

Ring in the New Year at Riggs!

Enjoy live music by Mid-October from 6-8 pm, and food by TK's CheeseSteaks. Not to mention, the Riggs Taproom is always a great place to spend an evening with friends old and new.

New Year’s Mash-Up Bash-Up at The City Center!

Starts at 5:00pm

City Center’s New Year's Eve Bash is a popular event ever year. Enjoy music from the Feudin' Hillbillys and 90s Daughter for the ultimate music mash-up!

New Year’s at Allerton!

7:00pm-1:00am

Ring in the Roaring 20’s – that is the Two thousand and twenties at Allerton Park and Retreat Center! Spend a special evening at Allerton filled with costumes, cocktails, music, and dancing!

Come in your cocktail best to enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, a live DJ, an open beer/wine bar, and a fun photo booth. Enjoy a late-night nacho bar at 11pm, and ring in the new year with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
